Dermscan Group testing company acquired by Eurofins
Eurofins has announced the acquisition of Dermscan Group, a testing company with a global laboratory network dedicated to the cosmetics, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries.

Dermscan is headquartred in Lyon, France, and present today in Tunisia (Tunis), Poland (Gdansk), Thailand (Bangkok) and Mauritius (Quatre Bornes).

The company has an established reputation for safety, efficacy and in-vitro testing and clinical studies, serving industries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Eurofins welcomes the unmatched expertise in cosmetic testing from Dermscan in a market where the expectancy for safety and efficacy is among the highest in the world​,” says the worldwide laboratory testing company of its new acquisition.

Global ambitions for Eurofins

The acquisition forms part of Eurofins strategy, according to the company, to expand its global testing footprint in cosmetics.

As of this latest acquisition, the company boasts 40 laboratories active across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa.
